new french obsession: xavier dolan, the multi-talented writer/director (above left) of heartbeats. this movie was neo-new wave, featured gorgeous, hilarious actors in brilliant (dolan-designed) costumes, and a last-minute, brutally endearing louis garrel cameo. those with netflix, instantly stream this gem now.
